While we talk about practicing ZBSF and its dependency on local cattle ,Seriously On other note the so called PETA and some anti social are indirectly involved in making way for foreign diaries to capitalize the dairy sector of india. May be many are not aware only in few areas the local bulls which are essential for local cow to maintain its sanity and purity of local breed are around in places like Tamilnadu ,Andhra ,few in Karnataka ,not sure in maharastra ..If local bulls are non existent ,then automatically all cows will be subjected to foreign semen ....and entire concept we talk about local breed cattle will become to square one .....There are places around in Tamilnadu which still keeps this world famous sport jallikattu /manju viratu ..where each and every village will have temple cow bull maintained by village people took part in this ancient ceremony sport continuing from centuries as well during Pongal /Mahara Sakranti/ Vishu ....Now with PETA and other board cleverly took ban through supreme court ...Serious implication is all the bulls will go to slaughter houses because of its less importance and there is demand as well as keen by anti social to eradicate local breeds ...earlier people used to plough now tractor has come.. this sport was keeping alive these bullock carts /bulls ...now they will go extinct ..If they are extinct means ultimately female without male doesnt exist. I am sharing the video which is in Tamil explained beautifully by a Doctor ..Sharing to this forum to see any innovative idea to negate this serious implication..... --> Punjab 95 % is only Foreign Breed Cows ... --->Tamilnadu ,Andhra ,Karnataka ---Not sure on % but majority of cows are Foreign breed semen cows ...ie only cross breed cows on an average ... It is high time we bring the awareness to people to bring and protect these local breed cows and bulls which are essential for farming practice ...Else we will be surprised to see this practice remains only in papers in coming years w/o cows/cattle...!!!
