While we were at the library, my son grabbed a book that he thought was full of bedtime stories. We got home a little while ago and he brought the book over to me to help him find a story for tonight. Turns out it was a book that is more for parents...with tips for getting kids to bed on time without any fuss and how to combat the common questions kids ask when they dont want to go to bed like, But Im thirsty, cant I have a drink? or Can I watch just one more episode? or Can I just stay up ten minutes longer? The irony of it all is that weve been having issues with him not wanting to go to bed. So when I was flipping through the pages of the book, I started giggling and told him what the book actually was. Talk about a shocked kid! After he recovered from the disbelief, he tried to take it and hide it. LOL! Good for mommy, bad for son. #IronicMistakes
