While we were sleeping....R.I.P. City flag of Richmond, 1914-1993. Definitely gonna have to get my hands on one of these. This looks like a job for Preston Furlow! :) Center section made of oil cloth with painted design which is sewn to the flag similar construction on reverse side. Constructed on heavy cotton fabric. Canvas hoist with brass grommets. Side 1 says; DEO VINDICE Side 2 says; RICHMOND VA FOUNDED BY WILLIAM BYRD MDCCXXXVII SIC IT UR ADASTRA CIRCA (Thus One Goes To the Stars) 36X60
