While with my aunt today, i quietly and secretly thanked God for bringing us together just one more time. She reminds me so much of my late mother. This visit was for breakfast, but so quickly lasted way past lunch. I dragged the conversations on and on, just a little more of her eyes, her nose, her lips, her face. I really felt like i was with my mom. I finally gave up the ghost. Aunt Mae, you look so much like her. Its almost hard looking at you, but i could look at you all day. (All this with tears in my eyes). She said, Really, Carla, youre the one who looks like her. You have her nose. And her laugh. And i miss her too. Truth be told, all of her siblings look alike. I just miss everything thats pure and sweet and wonderful and good. I miss my mom. Theres noone like her. Noone. I pray, I PRAY, THAT HER SPIRIT IS BLESSED! AND THAT SHE IS WITH GOD! The best thing thats ever happened for me, was meeting her. My AMAZING GRACE. With that being said, #IMGOOD. GOD PUTS NO MORE ON YOU THAN YOU CAN BEAR! I WILL ALWAYS LOVE MY MOMMA! HOW BOUT IT? YEAH;-)
