While world leaders from respected countries around the globe were in France for the Unity March in support of the French victims of several terrorist massacres - President Obama was in Knoxville Tn. announcing that he will be proposing to Congress that the first 2 years of community college should be free to anyone who is willing to work for it. (Free meaning that Obama and the students will not pay for it - the rest of will). Mr. president, with all due respect, the US tax payer is already paying for student loans, PELL grants and tuition assistance for anyone who is willing to work for it. The US tax payer is also already paying for one of the most respected job training and skill building programs the world has ever known for anyone who is willing to work for it. Its called the United States Military. And it turns out some of the brightest, most dedicated, dependable and highly skilled workers in the modern world. Maybe if he had the stones to have worn a uniform himself he would have remembered that one. Thanks but no thanks President Obama. College and job training is already tax payer funded for anyone that is willing to work for it The problem isnt a lack of tax payer funded educational opportunities The problem is a lack of people willing to work for it.
