While you were sleeping Grandma we prayed for you to sleep peacefully...we longed for your pain to stop and for God to take you Home to be with Dad and Grandpa. We fought our own personal heart aches of wishing you to just be with us forever as you have always been such a beautiful constant in our worlds, and knowing that you were hurting and tired and wishing for you to be able to finally rest. As for me, I have been so blessed to have so many beautiful memories of the many times that I spent with you and with Grandpa. All the beautiful things you made for me, my dresses that I could spin around in, my barbie clothes, my wedding dress, my strawberry pajamas...putting lotion on our hands at night, curlers in your hair, finding frogs in the garden, mama kitty, Rowdie and the horses. Watching your soap operas, making strawberry milk, stopping the grandfather clock from ticking (at night), learning to play the piano, taking care of me after Nick was born...and so much more. I prayed for Dad to come and pick you up in his arms and take you Home. My prayers were answered...our prayers were answered. I love you Grandma...with all my heart. I miss you already... You are and always will be loved so very much. Welcome Home, please give Dad and Grandpa a kiss for me...♡♡♡
