Whilst I was restoring this letter box today, I thought to myself that what Ive just done can reflect on how you may view your body. It was tatty, rusty, the hinge didnt move and its foundations were rotting. So I dusted it off and repainted it, at this stage is where you decide to get off your couch, put on gym clothes and start your training program. Next was the rusty hinge, with a bit of cleaning and oil it moved freely with no noise, a bit like your basic everyday movement patterns, Squat, Lunge, Push, Pull. To make sure your training gets the best out of you, its vital that you can get full range of motion from your muscles and joints. Lastly was the foundations, I stripped them back, rehoused them and affixed the letter box with new fittings. Maybe your post injury, maybe your new to the gym, its important and better that you build your body up to a good standard before pushing hard in your training, theres no point hitting it hard straight away otherwise you can run into complications. Its never to late to start your journey, why do tomorrow what you can do today.
