Whilst walking through the market today, I kept sneezing whilst shopping. I began to ask my self what about the women who have to stay in this condition every day, and what about their little ones. Will they spend the little they get on treating respiratory tract infections and other diseases. The situation is very bad in Ada- East market and believe the same is happening accross the country. The country will spend more revenue on treating infections and there by reducing the amount of money that goes into developmental projects. Its high our markets are redesigned in a way that will promote the health of women and children who constantly spend most of their time there. The little said about the congestion and hygiene in our market places the better. We women also deserve the best. We are calling on all stakeholders to make this issue a priority.
