Whispers from the Cross, Purity of the Church, Visions 127 Back - TopicsExpress

Whispers from the Cross, Purity of the Church, Visions 127 Back to the vision, I saw far out into the world, and I saw lights which I immediately recognized as apostles. They were out in the world pointing and directing people back to the safety of the Church. I saw them being pushed and jostled but they kept working. I saw one man who had organized and a stream of about twenty across marched steadily back into the Church. He was really effective and that was his job, which he had said yes to, and God was using him to the fullest in his humility. I thought of two men I know working in the world doing this. I next saw a woman working in the world. She was in the crowd and she would get one person, who would then hold onto her hand. She would pull this person back to the Church with the greatest determination, pulling the person through distracting crowds and knots of people and eventually and always, delivering the person back to the Church yard where she would push them in and then go back and get the next person Jesus identified as her project. She was a point guard person. The others were zone people, to use basketball terms. She was as important as the ones who brought groups of people and one of the men in charge of bringing the groups had been brought back to the Church by this woman. This makes it so clear to me how important our humble daily service is to heaven, even though we do not see it that way. This glimpse of those working in the world delighted me. My mystical friend asked me, “You see their lights shining in the world, Anne. Where do they get this light?” I saw that their light was coming from the Eucharist in the heart of the Church building. I saw that it was the exact same light as the light that radiated out from the Eucharist that the Holy Father knelt before in Adoration. I saw that for this light to remain bright in the world, the apostles had to come back to the origin, the Eucharist, regularly. They are linked with heaven’s will this way. If they do not continue to receive the graces from the Eucharist, the light in them becomes dimmer and dimmer. This is bad because they then become vulnerable and God’s plan in them also becomes vulnerable.
