Whitburn Village FC 12 Colliery Tavern FC 0 Scorers Gary Brook(4), Adam King(3), Stuart Lane(2), Craig Barrow(2), Brett De Alwis Star Man Stephen Brook.... A much needed 3 points after a tough couple of weeks for the lads who aswell put in a good performance to lift the spirits within the squad.. Got to give a shout to Gary Brook who got himself 4 goals his last being pick of the bunch with a lovely finish. And to Center Half Adam King for getting a Hatrick his 2nd was an overhead kick which was pretty impressive from the big man. Goal of the day goes to Craig Barrow who broke through early in the 1st half to go 1 on 1 with the keeper only for him to put a delightful chip over the helpless keeper.. Brett De alwis made it 2 in 2 games and Stuart Lane grabbed himself a brace before coming off with a groin injury. Hoping he will be fit for next week.. Big 1 next week away to Hall Farm in the cup..
