White America has become increasingly more uncomfortable with this reawakening of some blacks African Conscious mind. Many of us are awake and arent silent about our beliefs and the injustice that continues to plague our people. To remain silent is to remain ignorant. Why is it when we speak truth to light and breakout real historical facts we become anti-white or racist? How come when we express our love for the great motherland Africa, we are deemed anti-American. Why is it when we speak on white supremacy and white privilege the non black friends you have get silent. People who benefit from it turn the other way and you are labeled a ungrateful black person, your a radical black person with this black power stuff, and let me not forget the best line I often hear I had nothing to do with it, plus it happen a long time ago. To all my people in the struggle its ok to say I am African. Its ok to be proud of that fact! Africa was the birthplace of the world our history is rich and not just about slavery, civil rights, struggle, and singing we shall overcome. We have every right to educate those who arent educated about their history, excuse me their true African History. If truth was being taught in the school system, if the media didnt focus on negative images or propaganda maybe it would make a difference or maybe some would still be silent and esleep. All I know is this I dont apology for being African. Those who stand with me Ase, let us continue the #nationbuilding.
