White America is going to have to face up to its racism and this week can be a turning point. The problem lies with us who are white, Caucasian. It is not a black problem it is us! We are racist, it is deeply ingrained in our Christianity, fundamental Christian faith. We have made very little progress in this century. At this point we need to hear from God. Legislators , politicians, educators and preachers; we have no white leadership (will we heed a black leader?) We have Barack Obama as our president, will we listen? Will we learn? Perhaps God is speaking to us through a black, African American president. Is this week coincidental or is it providential?
