White Ribbon Gala Auction Winners of C-130J experience The Royal Australian Air Force contributed a prize to the charity White Ribbon for their Gala Auction dinner held in November 2013, which included a visit to RAAF Base Richmond, tour of a static C-130J Hercules, and a rare opportunity to experience the C-130J cockpit simulator. The prize was successfully bid for by Mr Dunstan de Souza, who gifted the opportunity to friends Graham Lamberti and his son, Andrew Lamberti. The high-fidelity of the simulator and high-tempo of Air Force’s Hercules workforce makes it very rare for members of the public to experience the simulator. White Ribbon Australia is a non-profit organisation proudly supported by Air Force, and is the world’s largest male-led movement to end men’s violence to women. White Ribbon seeks to change attitudes and behaviours that lead to and perpetuate men’s violence against women, through engaging social change. White Ribbon Day is marked annually on November 25.
