When we ask for His forgiveness it is mercy and grace washing us clean. At that point we need to forget all about our sin because it has been washed from memory with the blood of Jesus. Every time you do this you are washed clean, but dont use that as a crutch to sin because you lose fellowship time with the Father. You need to believe that you are washed clean as the enemy will use your conscience to give you a guilt trip. Realize the power of being washed clean from the merciful blood of the lamb. 1 John 3:6 (NLT) 6 Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is.
