Whitecross pool Killeavey 4-4 Whitecross Bar Pool team suffered an inexcusable collapse when it was easier to win the match. The table was easily the worst piece of scrap we will play on all year & it proved a good leveller as cathal Joanne Leonard Phelan struggled to beat a player he wud usually destroy. Same again as Shane Phelan got into a dogfight with Mark Shevlin but again we came out on top 2-0. Next up irish international the Tornado Michael Feenan and he blew paddy McCann with a brilliant break-finish. It was all the more amazing considering the crap table!!! Brian ONeill had the tricky task beating Stephen Teggart & only for a difficult missed cut on his last ball he wudv succeeded. 3-1 Gareth Mc Cann was millimetres away from making it 4-1 but his black hung thanx to the slow cloth & tom maginnis made no mistake 3-2. I was next on & even tho I was shockingly bad I still had a guilt edge chance to claim our 4th frame but my last screwback shot stuck in the cloth and a missed slice left the score 3-3. Jokie had mickey Taggert all but beat but Joseph Mc Taggart just cudnt get over the line 4-3 down. Luckily Mickey OHanlon had no opponent and we got that frame to settle for a dreadful draw!!! Next up is Carrickcruppen in wcross. With newly signed Paddy Tavey & Harvey lavelle added to a half decent squad!
