Whitmore Eclectic celebrates Throwback Thurs with one of Broadways greatest Legends, ELAINE STRITCH. Ms. Stritch was born Feb 2nd, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan. Broadway fans remember Ms. Stritch in her star turning role as Joanne in COMPANY which would garner her a 1971 Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. Notable TV appearances include LAW AND ORDER and 30 ROCK the later for which she won a 2007 Primetime Emmy Award for her turn as Jack Donaghys mother.
