Whitney Center residents recently enjoyed a performance by William Wang on piano. His program included Johann Sebastian Bach’s Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue in D Minor, BWV 903; Mozart’s Sonata in B-Flat Major, K. 333, 1st mvt,; and Beethoven’s Sonata in C Minor, Op. 13, No. 8 “Pathetique”, III. Rondo: Allegro and compositions by Chopin and Liszt. William is a junior at Amity High School and studies with Yoshie Akimoto. He has earned First Place awards in several regional, national and international competitions.
