Whitney Center staff and residents have been busy fundraising to support Breast Cancer Awareness and Alzheimers Disease Research and their hard work has paid off! With fundraising efforts including the sale of pink and purple items such as bracelets, hats, t-shirts and water bottles, and a huge raffle and bake sale, Whitney Center raised $3,000 to donate to these charities!! The American Cancer Society and the Alzheimers Association will each receive $1,500 from Whitney Center! The fundraising efforts culminated in a festive Pink Glove conga line celebration. Residents and staff danced through the campus remembering those who have survived breast cancer and those we have lost. Watch a video of the conga line here!
