Whitney is very critical. Her potassium are at levels that it can be fatal. They are doing everything possible to bring it down. They did the EKG on her heart and thankfully no signs of damage due to potassium! Whit woke up briefly earlier to tell me that she was worried. The doctors are back to saying I hope so.... when we say we shall get through this as well. It has been a very tough day. I just want to curl up in the corner and cry my eyes out. I miss seeing Whit up and at em like normal. Her eyes tell the story. They are puffy and swollen. I am just trying to take this one moment at a time. Her kidney numbers are higher and the UTI is present. They have started some antibiotics and will consult with Nephrology tomorrow. We pray we do not head towards dialysis again. My mind is in a thousand directions. I want to just lose it. I want to have the break down that I know I deserve. Yet, I hold onto hope, faith and God. Whit isnt having a break down. She pushes on. Life in the ICU. A couple of days can be so very different! I am just at a loss. Praying for miracles. One day at a time. Pray for us. Lord knows we need them. My heart is breaking while holding on with all that we have. You know when you are having a meeting with the doctors at midnight it is never good! May the Lord protect her, heal her and restore her! Keep prayers lifted! God bless!
