Who Are Those God Loves? Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves. - Psa 127:1-2 This question is not as simple as it sound because many will jump up and say those God loves are the people that show act of love to others or those that are committed in the service of God in their religion; But thats far from the truth. You can participate in the act of love yet possessing not love; as Paul said, If I give all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profits me nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:3 MEV) • Acts of love and self sacrifices doesnt mean one have love, it simply mean one is a nice person, and being a nice person cannot make anyone who God loves; For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23 MEV) > For the scripture said, Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifices and offerings You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have had no pleasure. Then I said, ‘See, I have come to do Your will, O God,’ as it is written of Me in the volume of the book.” (Hebrews 10:5-7 MEV) • A body is what God desire and takes pleasure in, and that is the body of Christ Jesus Who came to to Gods will for us all; John said, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16 MEV) > And to confirm that Jesus is the body God desire and takes pleasure in, While he[Peter] was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him” (Matthew 17:5 MEV). Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified...Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have glorified it[the body], and will glorify it again.” (John 12:23, 28 MEV) • So in this present age of grace, those God loves are those who listen to His Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth, outside Jesus theres no salvation; There is no salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 MEV) > We know that No one has seen God at any time. The only Son, who is at the Father’s side, has made Him known (John 1:18 MEV); and the Son has made know to us those God loves, for He said, On that day you will ask in My name. I am not saying to you that I shall ask the Father on your behalf. For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came from God. (John 16:26-27 MEV) • God the Father Himself loves only those who have loved His Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and have believed that He came from God, and fulfilled the requirements of the law for them; for For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. (Romans 10:4 NKJV) > Those who have believed and loved Jesus keeps His commandments; for He says, If you love Me, keep My commandments...If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32; 14:15 NKJV) • You cannot keep observing the law of Moses Jesus already fulfilled and claim to have loved Jesus the Son of God, who came in the flesh; having abolished in His flesh[body] the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man... that is perfect and pleasing to God (Eph 2:15). > Observing the law today after faith[Gal 3;19-28] of the Son have come separates you from Christ and His grace; You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. (Galatians 5:4 NKJV) • God only loves everyone in Christ Jesus just as He loves Him. You cant be slaves to men and dedicated to religion/tradition of men and claim to have loved Jesus; All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matthew 11:27-29 NKJV) > If you have believed and loved Jesus, then listen to a voice of truth saying, You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. (I Corinthians 7:23 NKJV) • God has delivered all things to Jesus, and until you obey Jesus all you do in His name is considered as iniquity, they profit you nothing; Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will [Matt 17:5] of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV) > Are you listening to Jesus directly? He is the only One that you need to please God; Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV) • Our acts of love only affects our fellow human and have their reward from God (Job 22:2-3; 35:7. Prov 9:12. Lk 17:10); But they does not justify nor make us holy and pleasing to God. > It is only faith in the Son of God that justified and have made us holy and pleasing to God; Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (Ephesians 1:3-7 NKJV) • All those who have believed and loved Jesus would agree with Paul when he said, I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” (Galatians 2:20-21 NKJV) > Be led by the Spirit, not by the book of the law nor by principles of men; walk by faith, not by sight; and Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:16-17 NKJV) + I pray that God give you understanding to know and be established in the present truth; May He grant you the grace to love and obey the words of Christ above all else! Amen!
