Who Can You Trust? (part 2): The Bible warns: Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish Psalm 146:3-4. Princes? Son of man (literally בן־אדם the sons of Adam)? Those in ruling authority, the nobles, even those with a generous heart as well as those common folk like us. That pretty much sums it all up my friends. It includes EVERYBODY!!!! Argue all youd like. There is NO MAN on this Earth you can trust!!! Consider your local, area, State, national, and world-wide conditions; environmental, religious, economic, social, educational, medical... THINGS ARE BAD AND ARE GETTING WORSE IN THE HANDS OF FALLEN MAN!!! Now, there is a Greek word that has been translated TRUST in several Bible versions, πιστεύ pisteuō. It is used some 248 times in the New Testament, MOST OFTEN = BELIEVE!!!!. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust (πιστεύ pisteuō) the true riches? Luke 16:11. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth (πιστεύ pisteuō) in him should not perish, but have everlasting life John 3:16.
