Who Is Leading You? Exodus 32:1 One of the challenges we have in the Christian faith is, people are more loyal to the man of God than to the God of the man. People would rather believe what their pastor says than agree with the unchanging Word of God. Whereas God has given us ministers to edify us, He wants us, as individuals, to have a revelation of the truth in His Word. If our eyes are kept on Jesus, nothing would be able to take our feet off His set path for our lives The Israelites had their eyes fixed on Moses, not on God. They had a relationship with Moses and not on the God of Moses. This is the reason they requested Aaron to make them gods to lead them to Canaan when Moses delayed to descend from the Mount. They perceived Moses to be the god leading them, hence in his absence, they desired another god to lead them. Friend, understand that the Shepherd of your life is Jesus. He must be your primary focus, every other person is secondary. Whatever anyone tells you that does not agree with the word of God must be discarded. Make Jesus your primary role model. He cant slip, neither can He fail. In Him, you have a perfect example. Focus your attention on Him, let Him be the One leading you.
