Who Needs Bowhunter Education? Bowhunter Education is not required in Nevada, but is required if you wish to go bowhunting in states or provinces where International Bowhunter Education Program (IBEP) certification is mandatory. The Nevada Department of Wildlife is now offering IBEP approved On-line bowhunter education courses. Nevada’s Bowhunter Education Program teaches bowhunters the fundamentals of safe and responsible archery hunting and an appreciation and respect for the environment in which they hunt. The course is a two part process.
