Who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard - TopicsExpress

Who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.- Philippians 2:6-8 NASB Today as I look back on all that I am thankful for I am overwhelmed by exactly how much I have to be thankful for. I am thankful for a Church family who is always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, a family that has their health and is still here, the health that I have been blessed with, a great group of friends that love God and love people and so on and so forth. But to say that I am thankful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is an understatement. I am so very thankful that He, although being God, would humble Himself by taking the form of those who would reject Him on so many occasions in order to redeem them and bring unto them the Hope of eternal glory. Although I fail Him on so many occasions He never fails me. I thank Him for giving me the freedom that only comes through Him and also calling me into full time Missionary work. I dont know where I will be overseas after I get my schooling out of the way but I know that wherever I go He will be right there with me. Thank you Jesus for all that you have done for me, in me and through me!
