Who am I? Our surroundings, the air we breath, the things that sustain life in this physical world are necessary for our existence. The realm of the physical is very seldom debated due to the testimony of our 5 senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. The picture of this world is a portrait painted for us everyday without question by the testimony of these senses. And the artist is our maker, the Almighty --El Shaddia. With the passion of an artists hope He gathered His pallet with a plethora of beautiful colors on the blank canvas that we call the universe. Perfection was not a problem for this artist. For our eyes can testify of its beauty when we gaze onto a sunset over the ocean, a trickling brook, or a picturesque mountainous skyline, etc.. The goal of perfection was not an obstacle for this perfect artist, but something happened that turned perfection into a groaning... A perfect God would not be perfect without creating a freewill. This perfect portrait we call reality ,as we know it, is far from perfect. The pain of death and destruction are all around us. What happened?? SIN happened! A contamination brought forth by the freewill of man in a garden setting some thousands of years ago. Ever since, the whole creation has been groaning for perfection to return. Romans 8:22-25 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. But God had a plan of restoration that to this day still baffles the wisdom of men. Perfection, through the love of God, had to die to restore peace. God gave man another chance to chose perfection. He gave His Son, a lamb without blemish, to restore the creation that is so dear to His heart. The freewill again has to make a choice... eternal life or eternal death? Colossians 1:20-22 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. 21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— So who are the redeemed of the Lord? They are the children of the Almighty! The ones who chose the Lord Jesus Christ. They were bought with a price and belong to God. They were crucified with Christ. They were sanctified and are one with the sanctifier. They are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. They have forgiveness through His blood and they are precious to heart of our God. They are born of God and the evil one cannot touch them. They have been given the Spirit of the Son that cries out Abba Father!! And He will lose none of them!!!!! Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
