Who are You Helping to be more like Jesus? We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. Romans 15:1-2 Did you know that we all are influencing people around us? We are are making an influence in people’s lives that are around us, either for the good or the bad. Sociologists say that even the most introverted individual will influence ten thousand other people during his or her lifetime. Every child of God has a wonderful opportunity each day to build others up and influence others helping them to become more like Jesus! This is where the joy of Jesus is experienced in an awesome way! The world is filled with negativity, from television, radio, news, and people around us. However, we have an eternal hope, love, peace, and joy in Jesus Christ that this world will never be able to take away. We are all stronger and weaker in certain areas of our lives. Therefore, we have the ability to see each other through the eyes of Jesus and love people with the tender love of Jesus helping each other through every struggle and trial in a victorious way. When I was at the place in my life where I really began to grow spiritually in my relationship with Jesus, the Lord brought into my life a great friend. When he would see that I was weak in certain areas, he would build me up with the encouragement of Jesus. During different struggles in my life it has been more than wonderful to have a friend whom I can trust to help build me up in Jesus! To the best of my ability, with Jesus working through me, I have done the same for my friends and people around me. Only by God’s wonderful grace. Action Point Let’s all ask Jesus today to bring someone across our path or to place someone on our heart with whom we can build up and influence with Jesus! Remember, we are all going to influence someone today, either for the good or for the bad. Also, let’s surround ourselves with friends and people who believe in us and encourage us. Let’s take the opportunity to shine with the love of Jesus, bearing one another’s burdens and building one another up in the love of Jesus! Be overflowed with joy in the Holy Spirit as Jesus uses you to make an awesome impact in someone’s life today! God Bless You!
