Lazaro, libero of reigning UAAP women’s volleyball champions ADMU Lady Eagles, is on her final year of eligibility. Aside from Lazaro, other recognizable names set to “graduate” from the UAAP are Princess Listana, Marleen Cortel, and Faye Guevarra of Adamson; Jorella de Jesus of Ateneo; Denice Tan of De La Salle; Samantha Dawson of Far Eastern University; Desiree Dadang and Rizza Jane Mandapat of NU; Abegail Ponon of University of the East; Dancel Jan Dusaran of Santo Tomas; and Angelie Pauline Araneta of University of the Philippines. Meanwhile, early birds who submitted their application for next year’s Philippine SuperLiga draft include several graduating students and alumni of NCAA and WNCAA member schools as well as Filipina volleybelles based abroad.
