Who are we before God? - Image bearers created to worship Who are we in Christ? - Freed from sin and empowered to be the Righteousness of God Who are we in the Spirit? - Awakened to the mysteries of God Who are we? - People who have been transformed by the Gospel! THEREFORE: Who are we before men (the world)? - The Gospel! See the Good News is that we have been rescued which means that we should be passionate about others being rescued! We have been given the privilege of worship, so we should be passionate about connecting men and women to our beautiful and worshipful savior! We have been healed, so we should be passionate about seeing others healed! We were healed from our brokenness and should be ecstatic and diligent to find and help others with their brokenness! We who were once weary and afflicted have been given a new family and a new possession so that we should now go to the weary and afflicted members of this world and invite them into our wonderful family! To say that your a Christian and fail to be the Gospel, redemption, restoration, renewal, love, joy, peace, justice, and grace of God to those who do not yet have it, is a selfish, self serving, loathsome, and pitifully trite way to live and the exact opposite manner of living that Jesus died to give you. The question is this: Am I the Gospel of God to my family, friends, colleagues, strangers, etc. or am I actually attempting to claim the love of God while being as selfish as the devils in hell. Lord give me grace to become your Gospel in all areas of my life and forgive me of the hell that I often promote
