Who are you? …and… What do you do? …are very important questions. The answers we give are very revealing (because they seemingly provide our sum total). As people regardless of what our position is in life we must answer these questions to the best of our ability. Teacher, Contractor, Designer, Stylist, Programmer, Sales Agent, Broker, Supervisor, Pastor, Artist, Coach, etc. …the list of titles is basically endless (from laborer to President… we all play a part in this life). As Christians (believers in Christ) however, we may want to consider answering the question (who are you?) something like this… “I’m a man of God… a son of the Most High” or “I’m a princess …a daughter of the Heavenly King” …when asked (what do you do?) the answer might be… “God’s will” or “whatever God decides” or “I follow Jesus” or “I do my best to glorify Him” …there are many options to explain who we are in Christ and what it is that we do exactly… but if and when we’re asked to provide a sum total of who we are in just a few words …let’s make them count (let’s glorify Him —let’s inspire others). Our profession is not who we are ...and who we are is not just defined by our work (ultimately, we’re defined by our fruits, by what God does in and through us; we’re defined by our relationship with the Father… by our love for Jesus and commitment to Him) …our spirit (soul, essence, life-force) defines us. Who are you? What do you do?
