Who can build the best sailing yacht? Today 12 teams of the TU Delft and Rotterdam Mainport University (Hogeschool van Rotterdam) found out during a sailing race. The students are all following the sailing yacht minor of the TU Delft. After a few months of theory the students formed teams and constructed their own yacht of 1 meter length. In MARIN (Maritime Research Institute the Netherlands) in Wageningen the teams had to complete two racecourses. Both speed and skill were important since the teams had to sail against the winds as well. TU Delft team Sailor Swift won the competition after an exciting five boat final. The video shows the race of TU Delft team Biosy Baris, who won the second prize.
