> Who do u serve...? > 1 Peter 5:8 warns us Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but that lion is no match for the Lion we serve... we serve the LION of Judah!! Now lets look a little deeper at the Lion of Judah, if u dont mind, stick with me plze. But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals. And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain,... (Rev 5:5-6 NKJV) Jesus Christ is pictured as both the Lion (symbolising His Authority and Power), and a Lamb (symbolising His Submission to Gods will). One of the elders calls John to look at the Lion, but when John looks he sees a Lamb. Christ the Lamb was the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all; therefore, only He can save us frm the terrible events revealed by the scroll (remember in Johns days, books were written on scrolls - pieces of papyrus or vellum up to 30 feet long, rolled up and sealed with clay or wax). Christ the Lamb won the greatest battle of all. He defeated\conquered all the forces of evil (sin, death, hell and satan), by dying on the Cross and His resurrection; so of cause, Only He can be trusted with the worlds future. The role of Christ the Lion will be to lead the battle where satan is finally defeated (19:19-21). Christ the Lion is victorious because of what Christ the Lamb has already done. We will participate in his victory, not because of our own effort or goodness, but because He has promised Eternal life to All who Believes in him (the Repentant). Do u Believe and Accepted the Lamb and the Lion of Judah, yet? Dont wait folks, because death comes like a thief in the night, meaning no one knows the time of death, except God... Get in right standing with the Lord of lords, the King of kings, the Lion and the Lamb, before ur times up. This will be the most important decision u make in ur Entire Life, a fatal choice, Life OR Death. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV) Nighty nite yall, tonight lets praise the Lion of Judah, for the Lamb suffered and the Lion conquered\defeated, so that we may Live. God Bless x
