Who doesnt have goals in life? Some are grandiose and others are little more, shall we say ah, modest. For me, I just want to take a plunge into a lake in midwinter. Apparently this is socially frowned upon unless, of course, there is greater cause attached to it. And lucky for me, I have found such a cause. The Harvest Hills Animal Shelter in Fryeburg conducts the annual Freezing For A Reason as a fundraiser. The money raised goes to support the great work they do in caring for and finding loving homes for the many animals that ends up at their doorstep. With the goal to raise as much money as possible, the drive-in will match dollar to dollar up to $500 all donations I received by Feb 14th for this very worthy cause. The event is Saturday February 14.
