Who doesnt love responsible leadership? Watching Tony Abbot address a world press conference over the death of two Australians in an apparent terrorist hostage standoff. You would understand what it means to have a leadership that knows what response-ability means. That ability to respond effectively to situations or developments without ducking, passing buck or dodging. He didnt evade any any question. He accepted security lapses. And he didnt blame his enemies. Any leader that lacks the ability to respond to critical issues adequately cannot respond effectively to issues. Meaning such a leader is irresponsible. He does not have what it takes to respond. Responsibility is a skill. Rising up to occasions. Saying to yourself, I was elected for this purpose. The buck stops on my table. I will take charge. Nigerian leaders can still acquire it. We need leaders that can inspire national confidence!
