Who ever said Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery clearly did not know the current state of the music industry. It can be an ugly and harsh reality for an artist with an original sound and artistic direction to have someone with the financial backing scoop that vision up and make a killing off of it before the originator even had a chance to let that vision flourish. OR to have someone follow your paper trail online and try to eat up your network from the same angle you have paved some success from. Its an ugly feeling when you find out someone has been doing that to you. Granted its a free world at the end of the day and we can all do whatever we want! But have some dignity and your own original ideas for goodness sake! -_- Im just going to keep doing what I was already doing: staying true to what artistic expression comes to my heart.
