Who gets to beat on their husband and get away with it? This girl, thats who. :) Did some percussion therapy on Ory tonight. He says it feels so good and helps more than the vest. Ory can tell me what spot to concentrate on and help him get all that hard to get mucus out. Most of the fight against CF is battling mucus mucus mucus mucus....get that stuff out! So I beat Orys back just imagining I was knockin that stuff outta there. PLUS, it gives me an arm workout. ha Makes me think of the story Orys Mom Jeannie told me about Orys sister Amy. When he was a baby, they would have to give Ory the percussion therapy to get the mucus up. Amy had a little baby doll and would always do percussion on it. She was just taking care of her little baby doll just how they took care of Ory. Used to, before vests, the respiratory therapist would do percussion while in the hospital. Ory said he misses it so much. So, I think well start making this a regular thing. I enjoyed doing it.....LOL... and if it helps, all the better! One time when we were in the hospital, Carl, our respiratory therapist, brought us a massage machine. I worked Ory over good with it. It was kind of like working a sander. LOL...Ory told me that it felt like a massage and told me he wanted to show me. Well, he turned it all the way up and hit me on the backside with it....I shot up off of the bed and like to have hurt myself! Let me tell you....it didnt feel like any massage I ever felt. hahaha...Ory got such a laugh out of it. Well, we are still doin our thing. Hope yall are having a good week. Love yall mucho!!
