Who gorged themselves and sugar overdosed this past month? If you are one that has, realize its quite normal and you arent a bad person for indulging. Whats done is done and the best thing to offset the excess is to NOT overcompensate and severely restrict your food in an attempt to lose the weight. When we do crash diets or severely restrict, we go into a cyclical pattern of starvation, that leads to massive cravings and eventually binge eating, guilt from the binge, more starvation, to more binging and on and on it goes until we give up, frustrated and defeated. This causes more emotional and physical harm than it does good. The best solution, is to simply go about your normal nutrition. Have appropriate portions and consistency with your regular meals, and your body will naturally shed the excess. Doing this wont make you feel deprived, you wont be starving, you will be less likely to binge, no guilt and youll have appropriate progress. Youll bring about better physical changes and health, as well emotional stability by keeping it simple and not shocking the system with extremes.
