Who has a favorite nursery rhyme or bedtime story? My youngest, unlike my older kids, doesnt want the same ones over and over. This is great on the one hand that I dont have to tell him about Little Red Riding Hood every night for the next four years. However, I am soon to exhaust my repertoire. His current favorite is the Three Little Pigs (plus we have to work a dinosaur into the story. Dont ask.) Pretty soon hes gonna get tired of it, like he has the others, and my tired brain is not thinking of anymore. So, to you my loyal readers, I throw out this question: What is your favorite bedtime story or song or rhyme? And tell me why (cuz Im curious and I care about you). Also, do you change it up in any particular way? For example: In my dads version of Little Red Riding Hood, she took beer and pizza to grandmas house.
