Who has an HVAC company they SWEAR by? The furnaces are Goodman so not everyone services them. One is HIGH efficiency (yeah right). Last month it looks like we were using 8.72 therms/day. I turned the thermostat down to 59 at night and during the day (except 6:15 to 8 am, 5 to 10 pm when its at 68) for the ground floor and the furnace upstairs is at 61 ALL day and night except for about 2 total hours a day when I have it programmed to 67. I use an electric space heater in my office. So daily usage of gas has now gone up to 11.27 therms/day. Furnace was serviced in 2013 and filters are clean. Last years bills were no where NEAR this. Obviously something is desperately WRONG. (Black Hills came out and find no leaks or problems outside.) Who do you recommend to make sure the two furnaces are working like they should since my normal guy sure doesnt seem to find anything wrong? Honestly, it would be cheaper to close up the house and spend a month or two in Florida at this rate.
