Who here amongst us remembers Lucy, the crazy dog that I refused to give up on about a year and a half ago? When everyone said shed never make a good house dog it was me that argued over and over again. After I worked with her for all I could, the great ladies at the Little Guild of Saint Francis took her in and continued working with her until the absolute PERFECT home was found. Thats when Kim took her in and I have to admit when I went to visit Lucy last February I didnt think shed remember me. But she did! She showed me so much love that day. We played in the snow then in the warmth of the living room. That dog single paw-idly taught me so much about myself and what the power of love will do for an animal if you can just be patient and show them love and respect. I love that dog, my Lucy girl, today and always. I just wanted to share these pictures of this truly amazing dog! And to Kim- Thanks for taking such great care of my Lucy girl! I wont ever forget you girls....
