Who in their right mind would give a talker like me the number 10 - really? :-) Like some of my friends, I feel like I am an open book, but here goes: 1) I love John Wayne, Elvis, and Tim Tebow. 2) My daddy was named Buck and my mom was Penny! I am so thankful my name is not Nickel or Dime! 3) I skipped a grade when I was in 5th grade - 6th and 5th in the same year! It was a terrible trauma at the time, but a blessing in hind sight! 4) Susan Neal Roberts and I were once chased by a water moccasin while swimming in Lake Stella! 5) I directed 142 plays during my teaching career - thanks to many of you for that :-). 6) I cry at Hallmark cards, Xmas commercials, cute pics of kids or pets! 7) War movies are my guilty little pleasure! 8) Since my retirement, I sometimes read a book a day! 9) My grandfather used to call me Doggy Davis because I followed him everywhere! 10) I count myself so very lucky to have found love at a slightly older age; that I have an amazing daughter, I have two stepsons who are great, and I live this blessed life! Shoot! Even our wildlife is precious! Whew! Thanks for listening! I will not assign numbers! :-)
