Who is Butterfly? Grew up in New Orleans and groomed by some of the best musicians the city has to offer. She is the daughter of the late Milton Knox, who was a producer for CBS records and has worked with greats such as Larry Graham, Tom Tom 84, Stevie Wonder and Regina Belle are too name a few! So innately its no surprise the apple doesnt fall far from the tree. Music is in her blood . She is often referred too as the Reggae Queen but Butterfly has a very diverse background from opera, stage plays, gospel, RB, too being afforded the opportunities to sing background for Pato Banton, Ndea Davenport from Brand New Heavies, Charmaine Neville and more. She has been featured on recordings, featured on several rappers projects, soundtrack for Fox Series Dark Angel, Master P, Iris may Tango w/George Clinton and the lists goes on and on. Opened up for several artists such as Shaggy , Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, The Wailers, Ziggy Marley Eek a Mouse, Yellow Man, The Itals , and etc and also to her belt production/event coordinator/song writer/and organizer .. Bringing energy and a vocal range from Alto to a Minnie Rippleton note, youll be sure too see the diversity.
