Who is a Garmin GPS Watch user out there and actually uses the heart rate monitor religiously with their watch without issues? Ive owned the Garmin 610, 910xt, 220, and Fenix 2... every single time, with every watch, my heart rate monitor has started out working fine and within a month or so, gives sporadic readings eg. starts out normal, shoots way up high then 4 miles in I am running at a heart rate of 47 lol. Ive tried replacing the battery, washing the strap as stated, different forms of conductive. Why cant Garmin get this right, Ive never had an issue with a straight up Polar HR monitor. Thoughts?
