Who is afraid of Wike? Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe the niger delta - TopicsExpress

Who is afraid of Wike? Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe the niger delta activist turned politician is agitating for a riverine governor who must come from the Kalabari ethnic nationality. Does the word riverine now mean Kalabari? This is a position I believe the Andonis, Opobo, Bonny, and Nkoro will find very insulting and dehumanizing. What is wrong if a Bonny man becomes the number one citizen of Rivers State come 2015? By this new dictionary meaning of the word riverine as posited by Chief Sara-Igbe, the rest of the riverine ethnic nationality are now classified as imbeciles and simpletons. Chief Sara Igbe, I may be young but I know my history. Riverine does not mean Kalabari and cannot mean Kalabari. Chief, I used to think that activists stand on the side of truth and justice until I heard you spoke on AIT; on the way forward for Rivers State. Chief, how much were you paid to insult our sensibility? How much were you paid to divide us along ethnic lines? You talked about proliferation of arms in Rivers State, please how many are in your possession? Gratitude they say is a terrible burden that fools gladly discards. You failed to thank GDI for galvanizing the masses for PDP. You failed to thank Wike for ensuring we have a strong PDP upon which you wish to actualize your so called Kalabari agenda. I was expecting you to join the likes of the former governorship candidate of ACN, Tammy Danagogo and others who publicly thanked Wike in a GDI rally in Okrika and Degema respectively. Shame on you, that even those in the opposition party, took turns to congratulate Wike for his doggedness in pursuing a just and egalitarian society. You said Wike bought buses, that his body language shows he has ambition and was also endorsed at Omoku by his party men. If I may ask, what is wrong about Wikes ambition? How can you rely on Wikes magnanimity to building the PDP in Rivers State, and a “perceived body language to say he wants to be governor. When has it become a crime to support ones party? When has body language become an expression of interest and a declaration to contest for any position? Those who endorsed Wike, have the right to do so. After all, Rivers Converge; a political group have endorsed Hon. Nimi Walson-Jack, so also did Princewill Political Association endorse Mr. Tonye Princewill. Then, why the much ado about Wikes endorsement? Is Wikes endorsement any different? Need I remind you that endorsement is not the same thing as nomination. Chief, if you are deploying such antics as a calculated attempt to stop Wike from even nursing an ambition to be governor, then you are simply a kindergarten politician, and truly do not know Wike. Those of us who know Wike, know he has two hearts; and thats why we refer to him as the “fearless lion” and the “harmless dove” Chief learn how to say thank you, because thank you qualifies you for another request. Feel free to read the story of the ten lepers and behave like the leper that returned to thank Christ. Chief, I want to challenge you and all the politicians in Rivers State PDP, that none of you have ever confronted a very rich opposition in any election in your entire political history. Therefore, we are in perilous times in Rivers politics and cannot do the ordinary. So we must close ranks and think outside the box to ensure victory for PDP and President Jonathan. The problem question is simple; “who can win election?’’ and not, “who can contest election? Or “whose turn is it?” That is, if there’s such thing as turn, because I’m still waiting for Chief Sara-Igbe to furnish us with the minutes of the meeting and the communiqué reached, concerning zoning and turns. Finally, the Rivers PDP predicament can be likened to that of Ekiti PDP. In answering same question in Ekiti State, they unanimously went for Fayose, notwithstanding if he was a former governor in 2006. Is Fayose Ekiti State? Even if the PDP had zoned the governorship candidate again to Fayoses family it fairly wouldnt have been him, because he has elder brothers and other relatives. But against all odds Ekiti PDP went for Fayose; the man that can give Fayemi a good fight; the man that has capacity to win election. If by tomorrow, Wike decides to contest for the governorship of Rivers State, we will subject him and others to PDP gubernatorial primary and I pray that Chief Sara-Igbe’s Kalabari aspirant will not require a waiver to be eligible to contest the PDP primaries. Say No to lions in sheep clothing! Say No to APC in PDP clothing!
