Who is doing this? REPUBLICANS in Congress!!! WHO just gave them MORE power to do this very thing? DUMB VOTERS (and especially NON-VOTERS)! Do they care at all that $95 million is being taken away from WIC and food programs and $500 billion MORE over and above last years budget amounts given to corporations, the military machine and buying more war machines (while also spending millions destroying U.S. arsenals in Afghanistan)? NO way. Democrats are fighting for our economy, our budget and this terrible corruption and waste that republicans are - ONCE AGAIN - trying to push through. Congress thought that they could sneak through a series of awful provisions in the Omnibus Bill without the public catching on. But guess what? We noticed and we are angry. Remember the bank bailouts of 2008? This “omnibus bill” lets banks return to the corrupt, predatory junk that caused the last financial crisis. Did you know that 70% of D.C. residents just voted to reform marijuana laws? Congress plans to just throw that one out -- backed by Big Pharmaceuticals. Remember when financing unwanted war jets came at the cost of literally taking food out of the mouths of underprivileged families? That just happened. Don’t let Congress get away with this.
