Who is ready for more snow? The latest models show two chances as we head into the weekend. The first wave of light snow (or even just flurries) could arrive as early as Saturday night and linger into Sunday morning. Very little if any snow accumulations is expected with this first wave. The second system will bring more widespread light snow into the state late Sunday night into Monday. I posted the WRF model which shows the snow moving in Sunday night after 9pm with steady snow developing after midnight. Of course, the timing is still subject to chance as we get closer as the models get a better handle on the storm track. While any snow accumulation is still somewhat uncertain, it is likely the snow will be enough to create some issues for the Monday morning commute. Right now, it appears snowfall amounts of around 1-2 inches will be possible by Monday morning, but this could still change. Stay tuned!
