Who is the vice mayor working for ???? The Coastal Commission or the People Of Long Beach. I feel awful for the folks being ordered to shove the coastal commission plans down the property owners throats. Trying to justify numerous conditions of funding that are downright tyrannical. The sorrento stretch of tidelands is the most.beautiful on the whole island. What happened to real public discussion and concideration. What happened to grandfathering. Why not a small wheel chair capable trail. Why destroy what been there from the beginning. Who benefits from increased slip fees. Is the state going to maintain them now. This whole repair has been years overdue. Now with election year and other shenanigans. Here is another pet, outside sourced funded project. As if this long awaited necessary, long ago taxpayer funded magic trick, is making the magicians look like heroes. Every one of these projects being contentiously debated or seemingly controversial. Should have a reasonable moratorium imposed, until they can be properly addressed and managed by the next administration and the folks. This kind of city policy and management is appaling. Who are these people working for.
