Who is this?Even the wind and the waves obey Him! Mark 11:41 Anxiety/Fear is not a disease but a state of mind brought on by insecurity. Anxiety is a fear that has gone totally out of balance,a fear that is hard to decipher. I would like to believe that this was the same anxiety the disciples had when they faced the raging storm. The disciples probably even reacted way better than you and I would have if we were in that boat with Jesus. What fascinates me the most is that Jesus was the best weather reporter at that time and He knew the storm was coming but still he insisted that they should go over the other side. Did JESUS care enough for his disciples to put them through such a horrifying experience?? Well the answer is Yes,Jesus cared for each and everyone of them in that boat and all they needed to have was faith and trust in Him and to lay hold of the promises of God. Psalm 27:5 For in the day of trouble,He will keep me safe in His dwelling,He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle and set me high upon a rock. The God who lived then and delivered Daniel out of the Lions den,the God whom the seas obeyed is the same God who lives today and all we need to do is to trust his promises which are Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus.
