Who likes to snack?? (I know I do) I always have clients asking me what is the best foods to snack on. Snacking is completely healthy and it is a great way to continue boosting your metabolism and to help with not over-eating at other meals. You just need to make sure what you are snacking on is healthy & satisfying. My list of healthy snacks: *Protein Shake *Whole wheat low sodium crackers with Tzaziki *Low fat cottage cheese on whole wheat low sodium crackers *Hard boiled egg with a dash of pepper *Small portion of lean meat *Carrots with hummus *Small piece of fruit (do not eat too much fruit- many are high in sugar, 1 small piece of fruit a day is good) *Natural or Greek yoghurt : Mix your yogurt with chocolate protein powder - YUM *Vegetables with a small dash of balsamic vinegarette *Handful of almonds/walnuts- no salted nuts *homemade oatmeal muffin *Unsalted rice cake with 1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter
