Who remembers DINAH, our 7month old mule foal? She ran through auction without her mother. She arrived in the dead of winter along with TOM and were kindly quarantined in the Dam Diners little barn. Dinah was terrified when we tried handling her and took great comfort in having Tom as her big brother companion and guardian! (I should mention that because she was stabled at the Diner, we named her Dinah...its a Long Island thing!) Every year we get pictures of her with her owner Linda & family along with the stories of her antics, like in this picture where she was hiding behind the spruce tree until Linda called her name. She will come when called if she thinks theres something in it for her (being a mule she is a smart-Ass) But a lot of the time she is a little she devil doing things the horse would never ever consider! Bottom line they adore her!!
