Who remembers sewing? I made 75% of my own clothes during the 70s and 80s. What fun to select the pattern, fabric, threads, zipper, buttons, etc, and put a beautiful item together. Best part was knowing that nobody else would be wearing the same thing. I guess it is too time-consuming to be bothered with anymore these days but was worth the effort. My mother in law also sewed beautifully, and she wanted very much to make my wedding dress but I was too young and stubborn and she didnt get to do that. My bad. I hope someone out there gets re-inspired to sew again - Melissa, I know you are one of them. Gotta love a seamstress!
